Program Details
- Eligibility – Boys and girls who are 5 or 6 (click here to see if your child qualifies).
- Game Format
Games are 3 innings, appx. 1-1.5 hours, and played on Saturdays.
Teams bat through the order, with outs encouraged but not ending the inning.
- Practice Schedule – One practice per week, scheduled by the team’s coach.
- Equipment – Foam bats and lightweight plastic balls provided by NLLB.
- Fields – Real baseball diamonds with dugouts, bleachers and all-dirt infields.

- Build Skills and Confidence - With our coach-pitch format, players skip the frustration of hitting off a tee and jump straight into real baseball action. This helps them build skills faster and experience more success at an early age.
- A Game They’ll Love - Sandlot Baseball is designed to foster a love for the game. It’s the perfect steppingstone to prepare players for our Machine Pitch Rookie A program when they reach 1st grade.
