Operations Manager
Naperville Little League is looking to hire an Operations Manager.
Since 1952, Naperville Little League Baseball (NLLB) has been committed to providing an outlet of healthful activity and training under good leadership in an atmosphere of wholesome community participation. The program is dedicated to helping children aged 7 – 12 become good and decent citizens. It strives to inspire them with an awareness of community. Naperville Little League allows every child the chance to be a team member and develop both skills on and off the field. Naperville Little League is part of Little League International.
Naperville Little League offers three programs: 1) The Regular Season held April through June –July with approximately 1400 players participating, 2) The Summer Tournament held during the second half of July with approximately 200 players participating, and 3) Fall Ball held September-mid October with approximately 400 players participating.
There are approximately 100 participating teams during the regular season utilizing 22 Naperville Park District baseball fields. Each team plays approximately 20 games.
The duties of the Operations Manager are to efficiently run the program, follow all policies and procedures, and promote the program.
The position is full time, but the bulk of the workload for this position occurs leading up to and during the baseball season. There will be times when the workload will peak to well above the average.
Employee benefits include a monthly salary, cell phone / gas allowance, and three weeks of vacation annually. No other fringe benefits are included.
